College arrests climb after alcohol crackbdown

NORFOLK -- A year after state colleges started cracking down on illegal and excessive drinking, alcohol violations and arrests have risen sharply at some schools, according to a Norfolk newspaper.
At Virginia Tech in Blacksburg, the Virginian-Pilot said in an Aug. 5 story, arrests increased 104 percent in the last school year. At Old Dominion University ...
