Based on the court's finding that defendant automobile dealership filed unsubstantiated and unsupported affirmative defenses without a single ascertainable fact to back up the pleadings, in violation of Va. Code Sect. 8.01-271.1, the court orders defense counsel to pay a sanction of $2,000 to plaintiff's attorney.
