New address adopted for those in Henrico County

Henrico County residents and businesses have new mailing addresses.
On Wednesday, Oct. 1, county mailing addresses switched from “Richmond, VA’’ to “Henrico, VA.’’
The U.S. Postal Service says 61 percent of the 29,505 residents and businesses who responded to a survey approved the change.
The Postal Service says Henrico County loses an estimated $5 million in tax revenue annually because the taxes are mistakenly paid to the city of Richmond.
