Michael Vick, professional quarterback and amateur dog trainer, looks to be smoothing his path to re-entry into the football business.
Documents in the Surry County courthouse indicate that Vick will plead guilty to his new state dog fighting charges. Resolution of those pending charges might clear the way for a halfway house placement, as reported by The Virginian-Pilot.
Vick currently is serving a two-year federal sentence for dog fighting.
