Roanoke lawyer Mike Pace, the managing partner at Gentry Locke Rakes & Moore, has had a very good month.
According to a press release from his firm, Pace (right) was awarded a double whammy of good in November.
Washington and Lee University awarded Pace its Honorary Order of the Coif award. The award is only periodically given to alumni whose high attainments in the profession of law and efforts reflect well on the W& L Law School. Pace earned his law degree from W&L in 1984.
On top of that, the Salem Educational Foundation and Alumni Association inducted Pace into the Salem Alumni Hall of Fame, citing his many career achievements.
Expect the good times to roll into 2009 – Pace will conclude his term as president of the Virginia Bar Association in January, taking on that coveted title, past president.
