Group helps felons get civil rights

The Virginia Organizing Project is working to restore voting rights for felons who have served their time, according to the C-Ville Weekly.  One of the activists pushing for legislative reform says, under current law, an application for restoration of civil rights can be derailed by a simple speeding ticket.

  1. i think that felons should be able to vote. i also believe that under no circumstances should a natural born citizen of the united states be deprived of their constitutional rights. its in the first ten that we all possess certain rights which can’t be taken.

  2. what about all the years x-felons made tags and cant file Social security work credits for the hours they put in to the contribution of america and dont receive any help to just live.
