Letter to the Editor: Diversity very much a part of bar’s mission

Dear Editor:
Opponents of Virginia State Bar President Manuel Capsalis’ Diversity Proposal express two concerns: (1) that the proposal will morph into affirmative action and reverse discrimination, or, (2) while its goals are laudable, promoting diversity is not part of the bar’s mission.
My reading of the proposal didn’t produce any language suggestive of affirmative action or ...
