Important Opinions: A recap for January-June 2009

This week, Virginia Lawyers Weekly presents the compilation of Important Opinions from January to June 2009.
There are no new opinion digests in this issue; the Important Opinions section takes the place of the digests for a week.
Our digests in the print edition will resume with the July 13 paper. In the meantime, look for new breaking cases in the “Top Opinion” section on our home page and our Daily Alert.
As a reminder, our Web site gives you a running compendium of the Important Opinions we publish. Under the “Research” tab on the site, you’ll find all the ImpOps, updated monthly. Subscribers to Virginia Lawyers Weekly who register at the Web site can obtain a free full-text PDF copy of any of these cases.
