ER doc gets $900,000 for job tort claim (access required)

    If the major question in this case involved federal preemption, I wonder why defense counsel didn’t move to remove the case to federal court, and have the federal court decide the preemption question. If the argument is that the NLRA preempts a state law cause of action for tortious interference, then I would have rather had a federal judge making the decision.
