Seventy-five dollars to file a warrant in debt and $500 to file a civil suit seeking less than $50,000?
How about $1,000 to file a million-dollar lawsuit?
Times are tough for the state, and Senate Bill 329 tries to make up some of the budget shortfall by hiking these fees way up.
