Two Hunton & Williams attorneys promoted to counsel

Two members of the Hunton & Williams LLP litigation & intellectual property practice were promoted to counsel status.

Edward T. White focuses his practice on intellectual property litigation, counseling and prosecution, with an emphasis on trademark, trade dress, copyright and technology litigation and dispute resolution; intellectual property audits and policies; clearance, registration and management of intellectual property assets; and intellectual property and technology licenses and agreements. He is a past-president of the Greater Richmond Intellectual Property Law Association, a member of the International Trademark Association and American Intellectual Property Law Association and a member of the Greater Richmond Technology Council. White also serves as a Commander in the United States Navy Reserve. White earned an undergraduate degree from Tulane University and law degree from Franklin Pierce Law Center.

Ozzie A. Farres focuses on all aspects of intellectual property law, including litigation, complex patent prosecution and IP counseling related to the financial services industry, software, business methods, interactive media, electronics, medical devices, consumer products and other areas. Farres earned undergraduate degrees from Florida State University and Florida International University, and law degree from the University of Miami.
