Revamp of circuits, districts proposed
First change in boundaries since 1972 is floated

Virginia would see its first revamp of state judicial circuit and district boundaries in almost 40 years, if the General Assembly passes legislation proposed by Del. Bill Janis and Sen. John S. Edwards.
Janis, R-Henrico, introduced House Bill 1990 Wednesday, and Edwards, D-Roanoke, was expected to introduce companion legislation shortly.
