Two Democratic senators are offering bills that would restrain Attorney General Ken Cuccinelli’s civil inquest into climate change research at the University of Virginia.
State Sens. A. Donald McEachin of Henrico and J. Chapman Petersen of Fairfax County said Tuesday the bill would safeguard academic freedom at Virginia colleges from Cuccinelli’s ideologically motivated witch hunts.
