‘“The Battle over Immigration” is the topic of the Annual Emanuel Emroch Lecture at the University of Richmond law school next week.
The lecture, presented as a panel discussion by the Richmond Journal of Global Law and Business, will cover the immigration debate and its impact on state and federal legislation and litigation.
The event will be held in the law school’s Moot Court Room on March 24 from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. The program is also sponsored in part by the Carole Weinstein International Center.
Featured panelists are:
• James W. McCament, chief of the Office of Legislative Affairs at U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services
• Rolf Lundberg Jr., senior vice president for congressional and public affairs at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce
• Michael Hethmon, general counsel at the Immigration Law Reform Institute
• Evan D. Wolf, partner and director of the Homeland Security practice group at Hunton & Williams.
The program offers 1.5 hours of CLE credit.
