Last chance to nominate for Leaders in the Law

Last call! The deadline for nominations for the 2011 class of Leaders in the Law is this Friday, August 5, at 5:00 p.m.

This program, now in its sixth year, recognizes attorneys and professionals in law-related fields for a significant accomplishment or achievement.

We recognize attorneys and professionals in law-related fields who have a significant accomplishment or achievement.

These include:

Outstanding contributions to the practice of law in Virginia.
Significant achievements through the practice of law.
Leadership in improving the justice system.
Important contributions to Virginia’s legal community and/or the community at large.

Anyone wishing to propose a candidate can fill out our nomination form (see link below) and e-mail a completed copy with supporting materials to our office manager, Denise Woods, at denise.woods@valawyersmedia.com. You may also fax your nominations to 804-783-8337.

The deadline for nominations is this Friday, August 5, at 5:00 p.m.

The 2011 class of honorees will be announced on August 12 and featured in a special publication that will be inserted into the October 10 edition of Virginia Lawyers Weekly. An awards ceremony will be held on October 20 at the Science Museum of Virginia.
