Even if the two have separate reserves ALPS still owns Southern Title and has spent over 2 million dollars of their insureds premiums to purchase it and no doubt more than that to keep it operating. Isn't it a wholly owned subsidiary? Look at ALPS last year's financials at their website. If it goes belly up like so many other title companys it is hard to believe there will be no financial impact to ALPS or our premiums. This is troubling.
