Regent University sues to stop Ga. college name

AUGUSTA, Ga. — Regent University, the Virginia Beach-based school founded by television preacher Pat Robertson, is suing a new Georgia university, saying its new name is too similar and will create confusion.
Regent announced last Wednesday it is filing the lawsuit in U.S. District Court in Augusta. The university was founded in 1978.
