Little change in rankings for most Va. law schools

It was a year of little drama for Virginia law schools listed in the U.S. News & World Report rankings.

The University of Virginia remained at 7th place, tied with the University of Pennsylvania. Washington & Lee, William & Mary and George Mason each shuffled up or down by two places, but remained in the same order relative to one another.

The University of Richmond marked the biggest change, a gain of five places to 53rd. UR was 86 four years ago, but its rapid gains have slowed.

Appalachian School of Law, Liberty University and Regent University remain unranked outside the top 145 schools on the USN&WR list.
