Meath becomes president of Virginia Law Foundation

Jim Meath in Williams Mullen Richmond office, June 6, 2008James V. Meath of Richmond has taken office as president of the Virginia Law Foundation as of Oct. 1. He succeeds Manuel A. Capsalis.

Meath is chairman of the board for Williams Mullen and is a former president of the Virginia Bar Association. He is a Fellow of the Virginia Law Foundation and an adjunct professor at the University of Richmond law school.

Meath also is a member of the 2013 class of Virginia Lawyers Weekly’s Leaders in the Law.

The Virginia Law Foundation promotes law-related education, the rule of law and access to justice. The VLF oversees Virginia CLE, the bar-sponsored provider of continuing legal education services.
