Snow changes schedules

Winter weather continues to affect Virginia courts on Tuesday, March 4.

Norfolk Circuit Court and Juvenile and Domestic Relations courts are closed, the city reports on its website.

The Norfolk and Newport News federal courthouses will open at 10 a.m., according to the website for the Eastern District of Virginia.

The Charlottesville, Danville, Harrisonburg, and Lynchburg offices of the U.S. district courts will open at 10 a.m. Petty Offense Court scheduled for Tuesday, March 4, in Harrisonburg has been cancelled due to inclement weather, the Western District reports.

The city of Richmond Circuit Court and its clerk’s office will open at 10 a.m., according to the clerk’s page on the city’s website. Criminal docket call will begin at 10:00 a.m. and J&DR docket call will be at 11:00 a.m.

Courts are on time in Fairfax County, according to the county webpage.

The administrative offices of the Supreme Court of Virginia will open at 10:30 a.m., the court reported on its website. A list of individual court closings may be posted on that page. The Virginia State Bar opens at 10 a.m., its website said.

Offices of the 4th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in Richmond will open at 10:30 a.m., that court reported on its website.
