Richmond lawyer and aviation expert Albert M. Orgain IV died Friday, apparently in the crash of his airplane in North Carolina.
A spokesman for the Sands Anderson law firm told the Richmond Times-Dispatch that the plane that crashed is registered to Orgain, a shareholder in the firm. He had been scheduled to fly to North Carolina on business Friday morning.
The firm acknowledged Orgain’s death on its website.
“Mr. Orgain was one of Virginia’s foremost aviation attorneys and was considered an expert in the aviation and insurance industry,” the firm said.
