Significant changes in 2008: Reed Smith launched two interdisciplinary practice groups in 2008: the financial industry group (FIG) and the life sciences health industry group (LSHI). Both groups combine litigation, transactional and regulatory lawyers. The FIG is comprised of more than 250 attorneys who are strictly dedicated to clients in the financial sector focusing on finance, litigation, commercial restructuring and bankruptcy, investment management and regulatory work.
