Each May, Virginia Lawyers Media honors high-achieving women across the commonwealth with the Influential Women of Virginia awards. The awards recognize the outstanding efforts of women in all fields, including law, business, health care and education. The honors are given to individuals who are making notable contributions to their chosen professions, their communities and society at large. Their energy, ideas, achievements and commitment to excellence and progress give us a look to the future.

Virginia Lawyers Media’s “Influential Women of Virginia” award program includes a gala luncheon and a special full-color publication detailing the honorees and their accomplishments.

The honorees – selected following a statewide nomination process – will be honored May 16, 2013 at the Richmond Marriott with an awards luncheon and presentation. Profiles of all the award winners will be published in Virginia Lawyers Weekly’s “Influential Women of Virginia” magazine.
