Virginia Lawyers Weekly’s annual survey ranks law firms in the commonwealth by the number of Virginia-licensed attorneys working in offices located within Virginia. The survey includes other information, such as location(s) of offices, addresses and phone numbers. Enhanced listings include additional information, such as the firm Web site address, areas of practice, firm contacts and other significant data.

Largest Verdicts of 2011

This annual special section includes verdicts of $1 million or more. To make the list, the verdict must be for at least $1 million, returned by a jury in Virginia – not a judge, and returned within the past calendar year.

Million Dollar Settlements of 2010

This annual special section includes settlements of $1 million or more. To make the list, the settlement must be for at least $1 million, involve a dispute with a strong Virginia component, and returned within the past calendar year.
