Senior U.S. District Judge Glen M. Williams now can add “interpreter and host” to his lengthy resume.

Steve Minor directed our attention to a travelogue by New York writer Thomas Beller in Travel + Leisure magazine that features conversations with Williams. Over breakfast in Abingdon, the judge regales the writer with tales of Daniel Boone. Later, at his home in Jonesville, Williams recounts misadventures in a long past Congressional campaign.
