For the second year in a row, a moot court team from William & Mary has taken top honors at the Tulane University School of Law Mardi Gras Invitational. The annual sports law competition featured a field of 38 teams from across the country.
3Ls Johnny O’Kane and Arpan Sura made up the championshoip 2009 W&M team. Sura received the runner-up Best Oral Advocate Award, while O’Kane received fourth-best Oralist honors, based upon three preliminary rounds. The team also was recognized for writing the fourth-best brief.
