The Lynchburg Bar Association and the Virginia Legal Aid Society have named Laura Keohane this year’s Pro Bono Award recipient.
Keohane, a lawyer at the Lynchburg firm of Edmunds & Williams, performed more than 40 hours of pro bono work for low-income residents in Central Virginia last year, reports The News & Advance.
As a personal policy, Keohane tries to always be working on at least one legal aid project.
