Virginia Lawyers Weekly is now accepting nominations for the 2009 class of “Leaders in the Law.”
This program, now in its fourth year, recognizes attorneys and professionals in law-related fields who have a significant accomplishment or achievement.
We aim to honor the lawyers who are setting the standard for other lawyers.
Our criteria for selection are broad and include:
- Outstanding contributions to the practice of law
- Significant achievements through the practice of law
- Important contributions to the legal community or the community at large
Anyone wishing to propose a candidate can send a letter of nomination to our executive editor, Deborah Elkins, at deborah.elkins@valawyersmedia.com, or fax a completed copy of the form (see link below) to 804-788-1242.
When making a nomination, please explain how your nominee meets the criteria listed above.
The deadline for nominations is August 6.
