A Lynchburg area gas station cut a deal with the attorney general’s office for charging $5.399 per gallon as Hurricane Ike approached last September.
Timberlake Citgo is setting aside $200 to give partial refunds to the 29 customers who filled up their tanks at the gouged price, reports The News & Advance. Also, the store must pay $1,500 to the attorney general’s office and $500 to the Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund.
