Dogs get merry Christmas, courtesy of law firm

December 22nd, 2009 · 3 Comments · Lawyers and Law Firms

More than a hundred “homeless” dogs can give thanks to a law firm of generous dog lovers this holiday season.  The divorce law firm of Shoun, Bach, Walinsky & Curran in Fairfax decided to sponsor the 132 dogs at a local shelter for three months as a seasonal contribution to the community.

“We are a law firm full of dog lovers and this seemed like a natural gift for this holiday season,” said managing partner Bob Shoun in a news release.

“This is truly a wonderful gift, and very much needed and appreciated,” said Shelley O’Brien, head of fund raising for Friends of Homeless Animals of Northern Virginia.
