Virginia Fair Trial Project to close its doors

The Virginia Fair Trial Project, an organization dedicated to improving criminal defense for the poor, will go out of business at the end of the month.

Baugh to become capital defender

David P. Baugh, the prominent Richmond criminal defense attorney, will become the capital defender for the central Virginia office of the Indigent Defense Commission on March 1.
