Venue change granted for jailbreak trial

Montgomery County Circuit Judge Ray Grubbs has agreed to move another Morva trial.

Michael Morva is accused of helping his brother, William, plan an escape from the Montgomery County jail in an 2006 incident that left both a county deputy and a hospital security guard dead.

William Morva was sentenced to death last year in a trial that was moved to Washington County.

Granting the motion for a change of venue, Grubbs said at a hearing today it was impossible to separate Michael Morva from his brother, according to The Roanoke Times .

No word yet on a new trial location.
