Philip M. Keating

Philip M. Keating, a shareholder in the Arlington firm of Bean, Kinney & Korman PC, died suddenly at his home on Jan. 18. He was 51.

A graduate of Rutgers College, Mr. Keating earned his law degree from George Washington University. His practice focused on labor, employment and immigration law. Active in community and civic affairs, he was the immediate past chairman of the Arlington County Chamber of Commerce.

“Phil was a very positive person; he had a great sense of humor and it was a pleasure to work with him every day,” said Leo Fisher, managing shareholder at Bean, Kinney & Korman.” “He was just one of the kindest people you could ever know.”

Survivors include his wife, Erin Devine, two daughters and a son.
