Norfolk lawyer wins in Legal Food Frenzy

The law office of B. Cullen Gibson in Norfolk has won the Attorney General’s Cup for raising the most food per person in the fifth annual Legal Food Frenzy.

The frenzy raised more than 1.6 million pounds of food for the state’s food banks in a competition among 177 Virginia law firms and legal departments coordinated by the attorney general’s office, Virginia Food Banks and the Young Lawyers Division of the Virginia Bar Association.

The AG’s office has a news release with winners in categories based on firm size, and total food raised and food raised per person in the office.

Gibson is a sole practitioner and commissioner of accounts in Norfolk who serves frequently as a guardian ad litem in juvenile and domestic relations district court.

Dominion Resources Service Inc. was the winner in a new category for legal departments.
