Goddard named ‘Influential Woman of the Year’

Anne Lynam Goddard of ChildFund International was named the “Influential Woman of the Year” today at a gala luncheon in Richmond.

Goddard and 46 other leaders were honored as the Class of 2011 in the “Influential Women of Virginia” awards program held by Virginia Lawyers Media.

The program, now in its third year, honors high-achieving women in the fields of law, health care, business, education and real estate, among others.

The honor of “Influential Woman of the Year” was voted by the 47 members of the Class of 2011 and was not announced until today’s luncheon.

Goddard is CEO and president of ChildFund International, a worldwide child development organization that reaches more than 15 million children in 31 countries.
