Listen to this articleThe Fairfax Law Foundation’s Society of Fellows has announced the winners of its first annual Golden Gavel Awards.
The Awards were established to recognize the contributions of individuals, organizations and businesses for their leadership and community service.
The Golden Gavel Awards dinner will be held at the Country Club of Fairfax on Sept. 20.
The 2012 Golden Gavel Award winners are:

FLF 30th Anniversary Award: Warrior Canine Connection
The Society of Fellows Program is a philanthropic giving program that helps advance the FLF’s mission of serving the community by providing legal and other assistance to the indigent and those with special needs, implementing law-related community education programs and promoting access to and improvements in the justice system.
Members of the Society of Fellows are individuals who believe in the value of justice and the importance of the Fairfax Law Foundation’s educational and charitable programs.
