Richmond lawyer Benjamin R. Lacy died July 16. He was 61.
A native of Roanoke, he graduated from Davidson College in 1972 and from the University of Richmond law school in 1975. He was a partner in the Richmond-based firm of Sands Anderson.
He was an elder of River Road Presbyterian Church and a former board member of the Commonwealth Club. He was a member of the Greater Richmond Bar Foundation, a board member of the Central Virginia Chapter of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation and a member of the Country Club of Virginia.
Mr. Lacy was a past President of No, Inc. Investment Club.
Survivors include his wife, Sandra Schute Lacy; his son, Benjamin R. Lacy V; his daughter, Carolyn Lacy Brackett and her husband, Alex; three grandchildren, his father; and a sister.
