Lawyers Helping Lawyers adds new directors, taps officers

Virginia Lawyers Helping Lawyers, a non-profit organization offering free, confidential & non-disciplinary mental health and substance abuse assistance to lawyers, judges, other legal professionals, and their families, has appointed Susan C. Busch, W. Lawton Tufts, and Priscilla R. Woody to the board of directors.

Busch serves as the assistant executive director of the Virginia State Bar; Tufts is an assistant public defender for the City of Charlottesville; and Woody is an attorney with McEachin & Gee.  In other business, the LHL board reelected Barbara Ann Williams as president.

Wendy Inge and Joe Gorrell were elected Secretary and Treasurer respectively.

The VALHL Board of Directors is also comprised of Judge William Alexander, Stephen Baril, David Bobzien, Thomas Bondurant, Donald Buckley, Jack Burtch Jr, James Daniel, Judge John Gibney, Harry Hart, George Hettrick, Carolyn Lavecchia, David Mercer, John Molumphy, Drew Sarrett, Watson Seaman, George Shanks, Laurence Tracy and Deborah Barfield Williamson.
