McLean lawyer Mark Sgarlata is charged with DUI and manslaughter after his car collided with a motorcycle, killing Ashburn couple Ricky and Leia Wrenn.
The accident occurred around 1 a.m. on Sunday when Sgarlata turned left into a shopping center from Ashburn Farm Parkway and crashed into the motorcycle, WRC-TV reports. According to court documents, a Sgarlata’s breath test at the scene showed a .223 alcohol level.
Sgarlata is being held without bond and faces a hearing Nov. 20.
