Weather snarls courts

Snow has put a crimp in court schedules around the state.

The Supreme Court of Virginia’s administrative offices will open at 10:30 Wednesday morning because of inclement weather, the court reported on its website.

The 4th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals offices in Richmond also will open at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday due to inclement weather, the court reported Tuesday evening.

The following courts are closed on Wednesday, according to a list posted on the website of the Virginia Supreme Court:

A post on the website of the Supreme Court of Virginia indicated courts in 8 localities were closed Tuesday.
