On April 9, the Virginia State Bar Seventh District subcommittee issued a public reprimand to Phillip S. Griffin II of Winchester for violating a professional rule that governs communication with persons represented by counsel. This discipline was an agreed disposition of misconduct charges against Griffin, according to the VSB.

Effective April 24, the VSB Disciplinary Board suspended the license to practice law of James H. Allamong Jr. of Woodstock on impairment grounds.

Gordon of Newport News for violating professional rules that govern diligence, fairness to opposing party and counsel, and bar admission and disciplinary matters. This discipline was an agreed disposition of misconduct charges against Gordon, according to the VSB.
