Richmond lawyer Colleen M. Quinn has been named the 2015 recipient of the Family Law Service Award presented by the Virginia State Bar’s family law section.
Quinn founded the Adoption and Surrogacy Law Center as a resource for people navigating their options for creating a family. She is a fellow on the boards of the American Academy of Adoption Attorneys and the American Academy of Assisted Reproduction Technology Attorneys.
Quinn is a co-author of the fifth edition of the Virginia CLE “Adoption Procedures and Forms” book.
“What truly sets her apart is her passion for helping her clients and the personal investment she makes in each and every case she handles,” wrote Sherry A. Fox, who nominated Quinn for the award.
The award honors people and organizations that have improved family, domestic relations or juvenile law in Virginia. The award will be presented April 23 at the section’s annual Advanced Family Law Seminar in Richmond.
