In the over 200 years of our Commonwealth, our citizens have been fortunate to have had numerous capable Justices of our Virginia Supreme Court. Beginning in the 1980s, the General Assembly and Governor began the overdue diversification of our state’s highest court. Now is the time to correct an oversight obvious to the hundreds of very fine Jewish lawyers in the Commonwealth, but perhaps less so to others. It is time, past time, for a Jewish Virginia Supreme Court Justice.
