Changes afoot at Goodman Allen

A well-known Virginia firm is undergoing a few changes.

The firm formerly known as Goodman Allen & Filetti PLLC is changing its name to Goodman Allen Donnelly.

The firm, with offices in Richmond, Norfolk and Charlottesville, is recognizing the contributions of founding member Robert F. Donnelly and acknowledging the departure of Dante M. “Dan” Filetti.

The firm said it also is expanding its practice areas and adding new attorneys.

Managing member Charles M. Allen recognized Donnelly’s achievements.

“Bob has been invaluable in serving our clients in medical malpractice matters,” Allen said.

The firm added E. Duffy Myrtetus as a member with a transactional and litigation practice. Three new associates have joined the firm, as well.

Departing name partner Filetti said he was looking forward to working on his own, rather than in a big firm setting.

He said his practice has focused on medical malpractice defense and regulatory representation of medical providers.

“I was just looking for a new challenge,” he said.
