Truck ran stop sign, driver suffered shoulder injury

Plaintiff was operating his pick-up truck in the City of Norfolk when a commercial delivery truck ran a stop sign and struck his vehicle in a significant collision. Plaintiff’s left side and shoulder were injured as a result of the collision. After conservative treatment he was referred to an orthopedic surgeon who recommended and performed surgery. The case settled before depositions took place and both sides went to increased expense for a late summer trial.

Plaintiff made a nice recovery from the surgery.
