Police excessive force claim settled for $6.5M – $6.5 Million Settlement

Plaintiff claimed that a police officer who encountered him used excessive force, causing him to suffer serious burns with permanent disfigurement. Plaintiff was hospitalized for 222 days and underwent 34 surgeries.

Retired Judge Michael C. Allen with The McCammon Group served as mediator. The net proceeds of the settlement were structured by Ron Feinman of One World Structured Settlements.
