Nominations open for 2020 ‘Hall of Fame’ honorees

vlw-hall-of-fame-logo_feaVirginia Lawyers Weekly is now taking nominations for the Virginia Lawyers Hall of Fame, our awards program designed to recognize some of Virginia’s most signif­icant senior lawyers.

Membership in the Hall of Fame is reserved for Virginia law­yers age 60 and older. Criteria for selection to the Hall will include:

  • career accomplishments
  • contributions to the develop­ment of the law in Virginia
  • contributions to the bar
  • contributions to the com­monwealth of Virginia
  • efforts to improve the quality of justice in Virginia

Nominees may in­clude retired lawyers, retired members of the judiciary and de­ceased lawyers. For a nomination form, please CLICK HERE.

The Class of 2020 will be hon­ored at a special awards presen­tation at The John Marshall in downtown Richmond on May 19.
