Richmond attorney Matthew S. Throop died at his home on May 11. He was 47.
Mr. Throop grew up in Vancouver, Washington, and graduated from Vancouver’s Mountain View High School, Clark College, WSU-Vancouver and then law school at the University of the District of Columbia.
Mr. Throop moved to Richmond where he started and managed his law firm, Throop Law, which he continued to expand until his passing.
Mr. Throop is survived by his father, George; two brothers, George and Ryan; his stepmother, Debbie; his stepsister, Jennie; three nephews; a niece and many friends.
