By order entered and effective on Nov. 4, the Virginia State Bar Disciplinary Board suspended the license of Jeffrey B. Bailey of Richmond for a period of six months with terms for violating professional rules that govern competence, diligence, communication, safekeeping property, declining or terminating representation and bar admission and disciplinary matters. This action was an agreed disposition of misconduct charges against Bailey, according to the VSB.

By order entered Oct. 27, the disciplinary board suspended the license of Michael D. Ephraim of Annandale for 90 days effective Nov. 20 for violating professional rules that govern competence, safekeeping property, conflicts of interest: prohibited transactions and responsibilities regarding nonlawyer assistants. This action was an agreed disposition of misconduct charges against Ephraim, according to the VSB.

Effective Nov. 5, the disciplinary board issued a public reprimand without terms to Ronnie L. Clay of Fincastle for violating professional rules that govern scope of representation, diligence and
communication. This action was an agreed disposition of misconduct charges against Clay, according to the VSB.
