High court slightly amends judicial emergency order (access required)

In issuing the 30th order extending the declaration of judicial emergency in Virginia, the Supreme Court of Virginia slightly changed the guidance for establishing safety protocols in Virginia’s courts. The order, issued Oct. 25, still allows the chief judges and presiding judges of courts to “exercise their discretion” in establishing how to safely open their courts. ...
